At Shook we utilize a technique called modular production. It means we shoot multiple variations of the different parts of ad videos (often called Hooks, Bodies and CTAs). Having multiple components allows for an even bigger number of unique combinations. This means you need to shoot & edit your videos in "modules" a.k.a. scenes.

Film in well-lit areas, preferably with natural light, and record audio in a quiet, echo-free space. Use the back camera for at least 1080p quality, vertical 9x16 format. Don't overexpose videos.

When filming in your iPhone, please consider these settings:

Be enthusiastic and real, speak at a relatively fast pace with no monotone, and keep your tone consistent.

Avoid filming in noisy places and don't place the microphone too close to your mouth. Also, ensure you're filming in the correct aspect ratio and quality as mentioned above.

Make sure that all the important things in the video are placed inside the safe zone: your face, the product, etc. Also leave enough space for any overlays and captions.

Anything outside this zone needs re-shooting!

Normally, you just need to do the basic trimming & cutting of your videos to make the module videos / scenes. What you should upload to the Shook platform are the clean modules, without any overlays, captions or background music. If you are requested to apply captions and/or overlays on the videos, please first upload clean assets in the Scenes tab, and only afterwards upload the edited modules in the same place.

Make edits match TikTok's fast-paced style. Trim pauses and noise, balance audio levels, and enhance video settings. Save both edited and raw footage. Please name your variations according to the script to make the process of revision easier.

Keep text and stickers in TikTok's safe zone. Use specified fonts and colors; if not specified, use TikTok's native fonts with white text and a black outline, or CapCut's "Classic2" or "Classic" fonts.

We have a pool of creator profiles in Shook. If you are working as a creator on Shook, chances are that a profile exists for you.

Go to the settings menu on the top-right corner and select User settings.

On the left, select Creator profile.

To edit your info, click Edit profile.

Make sure to upload good, representative videos that promote your abilities as a UGC creator well. We select creators for upcoming productions mainly based on the profile information.

Don't add videos to your portfolio without permission due to our NDA. Get approval from us or the client first.

Normally, you have 3 days from receiving the product. If there are shipping delays, request a delay via Fiverr Enterprise.

We process the payment via Fiverr Enterprise every 5th and 20th of the month. The milestone is completed when client approve your assets. We will keep you up to date with production stage.

Fiverr Enterprise is a separate platform; it's owned by Fiverr, but targeted for corporate users like us. It's essentially the same as Fiverr, just designed for long-term collaboration, with tools to manage creator contracts and multiple projects.

Before the project, we will confirm you the client name, and if you happen to work with a similar product in the past 3 months, please inform us. Sometimes clients are flexible with this. The competitor is judged case by case.

After the project, the obligation not to work with direct competitors the next 3 months after campaign launch – but you can ask for exceptions.
